Word for Word: Pres. Trump Says Rocks Thrown by Migrants “Will Be Considered” Firearms (C-SPAN)

President Trump said “I hope” troops at the southern border wouldn’t fire ammunition at migrants from Central America seeking to cross the border, but said he would want the military to respond to any physical confrontation from migrants. “I will tell you this, anybody throwing stones, rocks like they did in Mexico…we will consider that a firearm. Because there’s not much difference when you get hit in the face with a rock,” said the president during remarks on immigration and border security in the White House’s Roosevelt Room.
