U.S. Coast Guard Chases Down and Seizes Cocaine Smuggling Submersible

A video released by the U.S. Coast Guard shows the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Munro chasing down and boarding a self-propelled semi-submersible allegedly containing a large amount of cocaine in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. The bust took place on June 18. Between May and July, the Coast Guard seized more than 39,000 pounds of cocaine and 933 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated total of $569 million.
