Trump Posthumously Awards Medal to 9/11 Rescuer

U.S. President Donald Trump presented the Presidential Citizens Medal posthumously to Richard Cyril Rescorla, who helped save the lives of nearly 2,700 people at the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001, Thursday, November 7.
Rescorla ignored advice for people to remain in place as the Twin Towers were attacked, and instead aided their efforts to escape to safety.
Authorities say he continued working to save lives until the tower collapsed, killing him and thousands more.
