Senators propose a hike in federal gas tax
Sens. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., and Chris Murphy, D-Conn., introduced legislation Wednesday to raise the country’s gas tax in order to save the Highway Trust Fund from drying up. The Fund is set to run out of money by the end of this summer.
