January 22, 2019, 10:10 PM
Senate Democratic and Republican leaders agreed on Tuesday to schedule a vote on President Donald Trump's wall funding bill as well as a bill already passed by the House of Representatives to fund the government through February 8. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the vote on both proposals will take place on Thursday (January 24), a day before federal workers are likely to miss their second paycheck since the shutdown began December 22.
