Scuffles, Fire and Water Cannon as Students Protest in Chile

Riot police clashed with protesters calling for greater education funding in the streets of Santiago, Chile, Wednesday, July 3.
Officers used a water cannon to subdue the crowd after a molotov cocktail started a fire on a police vehicle and protesters threw rocks at officers. A number of arrests were made.
Protesters accused police of using heavy-handed tactics against them. (Reuters)
