President Trump Visits First Responders, Victims in El Paso, Texas

U.S. President Donald Trump visited first responders in El Paso, Texas, on the border with Mexico, after dual massacres 13 hours apart shocked the country and reopened a national debate on gun safety.
The president and first lady, Melania Trump, visited survivors in their hospital rooms at the University Medical Center in El Paso, and thanked the medical staff and first responders.
Trump also met with Army Private First Class Glendon Oakley, who carried children to safety during the Walmart shooting, and invited him to visit the White House. He flew to Texas directly after visiting mass shooting victims in Dayton, Ohio, and meeting with officials there. (Reuters)
