A man helped a distressed owl, Thursday, December 19, in the Australian city of Adelaide, during a heatwave that has seen the country’s hottest day on record.

The temperature reached 45.3 degrees Celsius in Adelaide, Thursday. In another part of the state of South Australia, the fourth highest temperature ever recorded in Australia was reached at 49.9C, according to the weather bureau.
