Oklahoma Woman Shot with Taser After Refusing Ticket

Body camera footage shows a police officer shooting a taser at a 65-year-old woman after she refused to sign a ticket for a broken taillight in Oklahoma in July. Debra Hamil, the woman in the video, pleaded not guilty to felony assault and battery on a police officer and a misdemeanor resisting arrest. The video shows the woman refusing to sign the $80 ticket and driving off. An Oklahoma police officer proceeded to pursue and apprehend the woman, eventually hitting her with a stun gun.
