Lt. Steven Rogers Talks About Law Enforcement Failures In Uvalde School Shooting

“Why weren’t these officers trained? Why wasn’t there anybody on the scene who was able to take over the command and control center?”

In his 38 years in law enforcement, Lt. Steven Rogers says he has never witnessed such an epic failure in police leadership and command as the 2022 Uvalde mass shooting. Lt. Rogers says elected officials also need to be held accountable for failing to ensure officers were properly trained to stop a school shooting.
