Gun-Safety Advocates Hope Democrat-Controlled House Addresses Their Concerns

The gun-control debate in the United States gained momentum in 2018, especially after a school shooting in Parkland, Florida, left 17 people dead. Now that the U.S. House of Representatives is controlled by Democrats who generally favor stricter gun laws, gun safety activists are hopeful their concerns will be addressed politically.
