GoPro Videos of Fatal Helicopter Crash Over Italian Alps Released by Police
Italian police released two videos of a crash between a helicopter and a small aircraft above the Italian Alps in January that took the lives of seven people, confirming their initial assessment. The footage came from two GoPro cameras which had been filming at the time of the collision, but survived the impact. Local police said the helicopter did not see the plane before the plane’s undercarriage hit the main rotor of the helicopter.
