Freight Train Derails Into Potomac River
Multiple train cars have derailed, falling into the Potomac River near Harpers Ferry, Saturday, December 21. All the cars were empty and no hazardous materials were involved.
As a result of the incident, the footbridge across the Potomac River is closed indefinitely.
No injuries have been reported. (ABC)
