Dramatic Video Shows Wildfires Next to Road in Croatia
Wildfires in Croatia have destroyed some 900 hectares of forest land near the town of Sibenik, firefighters said. Video filmed by a driver, Saturday, July 27, shows how close the wildfires got to the road. Around 200 firefighters and 50 soldiers were deployed in the area Saturday evening and the fire was largely contained by Sunday morning. No civilian injuries were reported.
