Some labor advocates are urging the U.S. federal workforce to call in sick — en masse — to force an end to what is now the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. But as VOA's Brian Padden reports, unions that represent many of the U.S. government's 2.1 million employees are reluctant to endorse risky and disruptive actions that could get workers fired.Original Article
