Chris Pratt Goes Off-Script at Disney Ceremony, Speaks God’s Truth and Ends with ‘Merry Christmas’ Hollywood movie star Chris Pratt, of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Jurassic World” fame, has never been shy about his strong Christian beliefs. Pratt has made it a point to praise Jesus anytime he’s on a stage accepting a movie award which certainly deviates from what we’ve come to expect from Hollywood. Pratt had yet another opportunity this weekend to expound his beliefs in the public eye. This time, however, he did so at a Disney event, which is mildly surprising considering some of Disney’s more anti-Christian decisions. The man who sometimes dons the guise of “Star-Lord” made a moving comparison to how he bases his love on the love of “our Father in heaven.” Pratt then pushed for “hope and love,” something which many of us need these days more than ever. Impressively, Pratt ended his speech with a phrase that leftists seem all too eager to eradicate.
