Armed to the Teeth with Shotguns and Submachine Guns
Open the Books CEO Adam Andrzejewski says that since 2006 the IRS has spent more than $35 million on guns, ammunition, and military style equipment. More than 2,300 special agents are armed to the teeth. "We got a big win in the U.S. House on the Appropriations bill for the IRS," Andrzejewski said. "That bill sits in the United States Senate. When they take it up, the IRS, in that bill, will have to audit their gun locker and show the American people exactly how much ammunition and guns and military-style equipment that they have stockpiled."
