After Brussels Terrorist Attack, Watch Cruz And Trump Say What Obama Can’t

With at least 31 dead and hundreds more injured, President Obama spoke from Cuba about the attack in Brussels.

OBAMA: The thoughts and prayers of the American people are with the people of Belgium and we stand in solidarity with them in condemning these outrageous attacks against innocent people. And this is yet another reminder that the world must unite. We must be together regardless of nationality, or race or faith in fighting against the scourge of terrorism.

Ted Cruz actually named the enemy and is wanting action.

CRUZ: This is not an isolated incident. This is not a lone wolf. This is a war with radical Islamic terrorism. ISIS declared jihad on Europe and on the United States of America. The first priority of the commander-in-chief should be keeping America safe. And it is long past time that we had a president who will acknowledge this evil, will call it by its name and utilize the full force and fury of the United States to defeat radical Islamic terrorism, to defeat ISIS. It is time for us to implement serious vetting and we should not be allowing anyone to come to this country that we cannot vet to make sure that they are not radical Islamic terrorists. That’s part of the problem of not defining the enemy.

Donald Trump also believes America should safeguard itself.

TRUMP: I would close up our borders to people until we figure out what is going on. The city is in fear. And we have to be smart in the United States. When people come in, I mean, we’re taking in people without real documentation. We don’t know where they’re coming from. We don’t know where they’re from, who they are. You look at them, look at it from any standpoint. They could be ISIS. They could be ISIS-related. And we just don’t learn, we don’t learn.

Why can the Republican candidates call it what it is, but Obama can’t name the enemy?
